Ten years ago, Guizhou lacked highways, railways, or flights; only long-distance buses traversed the mountains, making it necessary to spend days and nights to enter or exit the province. This isolated transportation left Guizhou’s high-quality tea hidden deep within the mountains, largely unknown to the outside world. Nevertheless, the tea industry in Guizhou has a history spanning three generations, with local tea farmers adhering to tradition and cultivating the best tea. Although the quality of the tea is excellent, due to inconvenient transportation and a lack of marketing, Guizhou tea has remained relatively obscure. Early merchants who entered the mountainous areas of Guizhou collected only the highest quality tea leaves and sold them at low prices to other regions. To survive in a competitive market, Guizhou tea farmers had to focus on the quality of their tea, ensuring it was not only good but could also be sold at reasonable prices. The unique natural environment of Guizhou—unpolluted, high-altitude mountains—provides an ideal setting for tea cultivation. It is this environment that endows Guizhou tea with its distinctive quality. The tea from Guizhou absorbs the essence of nature, forming its natural nutrients and flavors. Over time, the high quality, purity, and unique taste of the tea from this land have gradually gained recognition from more people.
Our tea industry in Guizhou has a history of several decades, yet unfortunately, very few people are aware of our high-quality tea. While outside merchants purchase tea from us, they often use it to build their own brands, meaning we have yet to establish our own brand recognition. Guizhou is home to some of the largest tea mountains in China, boasting numerous tea plantations. The unique natural environment here greatly enhances the quality of our tea. Our tea gardens are located in unpolluted mountainous areas, with fresh air and a cool climate, allowing us to go without air conditioning even in summer. This natural environment provides the best conditions for tea cultivation, resulting in the unique quality of our tea. Therefore, I hope to promote this high-quality tea from deep within the mountains to the world, allowing more people to experience the charm of Guizhou tea. Our goal is not only to spread brand awareness but also to bring new opportunities to Guizhou’s tea industry, helping more people realize that our tea is not just a product, but a symbol of our reverence for nature and our heritage.
